Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Mr. Hanford worked with J.C. Flowers & Co. as Co-Head of FPK Capital and, prior to that, as Head of Private Equity at Dresdner Bank and a member of the Institutional Restructuring Unit’s Executive Committee. Mr. Hanford’s other experience includes serving as a Board Director of Schroders, based in Hong Kong and Tokyo, where he was Head of Structured Finance.

B.Sc. (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an M.S. in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he was a Sloan Fellow.

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Cox spent five years in investment banking, first in Rothschild’s London based Financial Institutions Group, and then as a Vice President at Credit Suisse in London where he covered European insurance. Previously, Mr. Cox also qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working in the Financial Sector Transaction Services team at KPMG in London, and he remains a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
