Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Freebern served as the Tax Director of Lehman Brothers’ private equity business where he oversaw tax matters for all its divisions: fund of funds, credit products, merchant banking, real estate, venture capital, and communications. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Freebern was a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s real estate funds tax practice.
